Professional Accomplishments
Dr. Smith's first book, Quality Problem Solving; is currently at press. He has articles published in Management Science (3); Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes; IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (3); Decision Support Systems (2); Omega (2); Quality Management Journal; Journal of Behavioral Decision Making Total Quality Management (2). He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Behavioral Decision Making and has numerous presentations, including workshops on "Managerial Problem Solving" and "Quality Problem Solving." He brings to the MBA:Hong Kong program fifteen years of teaching experience as well as ten years of business experience in accounting, corporate planning, new business ventures, and management consulting.
