Professional Accomplishments
As Associate Dean, Professor Wilson’s management responsibilities include AACSB accreditation, the Cedar Falls and Hong Kong MBA programs, student advising services, minority recruiting and retention, information technology support services, and international programs promotion and development. She is the Dean's designee for issues associated with curriculum, students, program review, and compliance and equity management. She is a member of the team coordinating the communications and promotion of the College, and serves as team leader for CBA website development and expansion.
Dr. Wilson's interests in supply chain, information systems development processes, and pedagogy have produced 19 articles in such journals as the International Journal of Production Research, Supply Chain Management International, Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Service Industry Management, Journal of Information Systems Education, and International Journal of Purchasing and Materiels Management. In addition, she has accumulated over 25 presentations or proceedings.
In 2003 and 2006, she received over $300,000 in Business and International Education grant funding from the U.S. Department of Education, serving as the grant manager for five years. She was awarded the 1996 CBA Innovation in Teaching Award and the 2006 Veridian Community Engagement Award. Before coming to UNI, she worked for seven years as an independent contractor, developing small business information systems.
